Makey Makey and Virtual Reality with Canada Learning Code

Computers & Mobile Devices
At the Maker Faire, we'll be customizing video games and virtual worlds by changing the code that is used to create them. We'll show you how to create a game controller using conductive materials like bananas and Play-Doh, and we'll teach you how to visit a computer-generated world using a virtual reality viewer made out of cardboard.

What inspired you to make this project?
Our goal is to get Canadians, particularly those who are underrepresented in the technology industry, interested in building, rather than just consuming, technology. We hope that our projects will spark curiosity and that after visiting our booth, guests will be excited to learn more!
