Child Find Saskatchewan

Education
Child Find Saskatchewan offers an All About Me ID Clinic in which families start and ID booklet for their children. We start the booklet by doing a photo of the child and then they can get their fingerprints taken and explore using a magnifying glass their personal fingerprint. They can compare their fingerprint to the chart of fingerprint types and see which one they have and learn a little about how/why fingerprints differ.

Child Find Saskatchewan is a charitable organization that aims to provide education and prevention of missing persons in Saskatchewan. Our program called the All About Me ID is booklets outfitted with spots for pictures and additional spots for more pictures which can be updated as your child grows, fingerprints, medical information, important information and a check list for parents to go over with their children of important information they should know. Child Find supplies the booklet, the first picture and does the fingerprints and then all that information goes home with the families for them to complete the important information section, go through the checklist and then store the booklet in a safe but accessible place should it ever be needed. In the spirit of hands on learning at the Mini Maker Faire we would like to offer an in depth look at finger prints, how they are different, which type you have and explore them using a magnifying glass.
